Project Overview: As a part of the UX/UI design team, I contributed to the design and development of a messaging and calling application, working collaboratively within a team under the guidance of a Lead UX Designer. This project provided valuable hands-on experience in applying core UX/UI design principles, creating engaging visual designs, and developing user-friendly mobile interfaces.
Key Contributions:
• Visual Asset Creation: Designed app icons and created custom illustrations for empty states, contributing to a visually cohesive and engaging user experience.
• UI Visual Design Collaboration: Collaborated on the UI visual design for various app steps and states, including active, inactive, and error states, ensuring a consistent and intuitive user flow.
• UX/UI Best Practice Application: Learned and applied UX/UI best practices under the mentorship of the Lead Designer, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and visual consistency, enhancing my understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Design Process Contribution: Contributed to the overall design process, from ideation to execution, adhering to platform-specific guidelines for iOS and Android, and gaining practical experience in the full design lifecycle.
This project served as a foundational experience, allowing me to develop essential skills in user-centered design, visual communication, and collaborative teamwork. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, I gained practical knowledge of mobile design principles and contributed to the creation of a functional and user-friendly application.
