Project Overview: For a design task, I developed a responsive, mobile-first UX/UI for "Roadies," a travel companion application designed to facilitate travel exploration, tip sharing, and connection among like-minded travelers. The project involved creating a cohesive user experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop platforms based on provided wireframes.

Key Contributions:

• Designed key screens, including:

- Login Screen: A secure and streamlined user entry point.

- Onboarding Experience: A personalized onboarding flow to enhance user matching with potential travel companions.

- Home Screen: A redesigned interface featuring an interactive map for destination and board exploration.

- Inbox: A centralized messaging hub for communication among travel buddies.

- Profile Page: A user profile with verification badges to build trust and security.

- Search Functionality: Screens for efficient trip and travel buddy discovery

• Developed a color scheme to build trust and calm in users at the first look, so I chose to use Blue/Cyan, and Coral/ Orange combinations for a modern and refreshing look.

• Conducted research and competitive analysis and developed personas to inform the design process, addressing key user needs such as safety, inspiration, and compatibility.

• Implemented verification badges (via ID, Facebook, or Google) to foster trust and ensure user privacy.

• Redesigned the main page to improve navigation, prioritizing map visibility and adding a full-view option.

• Created "Boards" and "Requests" sections to facilitate experience sharing, tip exchange, and trip request management.

While the design task did not result in a job offer, the client acknowledged the thoughtfulness and creativity of my design. This project provided a valuable opportunity to demonstrate my ability to translate wireframes into a functional and visually engaging interface, while prioritizing user needs and ensuring a seamless cross-platform experience.
